Freestyle Sports is excited to partner with One World Soccer!

In the Spring 2017 season, Freestyle Sports offers a Strength & Conditioning program for the older select teams at One World Soccer. The players go through a pre-assessment and post-assessment and get 12 weeks of training from Freestyle Sports’ coaches. We will focus on strength, agility, coordination, flexibility and speed. By working on and improving these athletic skills, the players will see an improvement in their overall performance.

Director of Coaching Daniel Benito:

“The best soccer nations and clubs have known for a long time that success at the highest level of the game, requires a successful approach at the youth levels.  The basic framework consists of four factors, each generally as important as the other, but with each taking priority during different phases and ages of the player.  These four factors are: physical, technical, tactical and psychological/psycho-social.

To address specifically the physical factor, One World Soccer is proud to offer a Strength and Conditioning Training Program this 2017 Spring Season as a part of the One World Soccer Select experience. Freestyle Sports is a very professional company and will get the most out of the time spent with our players.”

On January 10, 17, 24 and 31, One World Soccer hosted Player Opportunity Events for new and current players, where Freestyle Sports gave an introduction about the Strength & Conditioning program. Freestyle Sports will do a pre-assessment of the players during the following training sessions:

  • Mondays, February 13th and February 20th, for the girls.
  • Tuesdays, February 14th and February 21st, for the boys.

Checkout the test results here!

After this, Freestyle Sports will do ten training sessions to focus on endurance, strength, speed, agility, coordination and flexibility. Every Monday for the 02, 03 and 04 girls and every Tuesday for the 02 and 03 boys.  Last, Freestyle Sports will measure their improvement at the end of the 2017 Spring Season and will provide a report to the families.
